Signing up for Meets

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR MEETS & JOINING USA SWIMMING

Parents are responsible for signing up their swimmers for meets and paying all applicable entry fees. If this is your first time signing up, please read this detailed information on How to Sign Up for a Swim Meet. Swimmers must be active in good standing USA Swim members to be eligible to sign up for meets. If you previously swam with a different team, you need to register for meets as ALGA Unattached for 120 days after your swimmer last swam with the previous team. You can manually overwrite with the previous team code with ALGA and check the “Unattached” box.

When new meets open for entries, you’ll receive an email from the Gators with details on the meet and where to register. Online registration is typically handled through Swim Connection or FastSwims. The Meet Sheet sent with registration announcements will advise which site to visit. 

Remember, too, that all families are expected to work at least one shift as a timer at any meet that their swimmer participates in.
